Established in 1985, China International Exhibition Center Group Limited (CIEC) is under direct administration of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Now it has developed into a group exhibition enterprise with the entire industry chain of exhibition hall management, domestic exhibitions,overseas exhibitions, exhibition design and engineering, exhibition transportation, exhibition information advertising, accommodation and catering, etc. It serves as a chairman unit of China Association for Exhibition Centers chairman unit of CCOlC Convention and Exhibition Industry Committee as well as a member of UFI.

CIEC Group operates two exhibition venues, one of which is the China International Exhibition Center (Chaoyang venue). Completed in October 1985 and recognized as one of Beijing’s Ten Great Buildings of the 1980s, it offers a total exhibition area of approximately 60,000 square meters. In 2008, the first-phase construction of the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi venue) was completed and put into operation in Beijing’s Shunyi District, offering around 160,000 square meters of combined indoor and outdoor exhibition space. Strategically located and fully equipped, both venues serve as key platforms for facilitating international trade and technological exchange in China.

CIEC Exhibition Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of CIEC Group, is primarily engaged in organizing domestic and international exhibitions, as well as facilitating the participation of Chinese enterprises in global exhibitions. As such, CIEC Exhibition serves as an integral component of CIEC Group's comprehensive exhibition service chain.

Since its establishment, CIEC Exhibition, together with its business divisions, has devoted itself to growing the exhibition business, cultivating its own exhibition brands, and co-hosting international exhibitions with partners. Over the years, CIEC Exhibition has built up a series of brand exhibitions, including the Beijing International Motorcycle Exhibition, Cafe Show China, Beijing International Bike Sports and Equipment Exhibition, and Beijing International Traditional Culture and Incense Expo. It has also set up joint venture companies such as CIEC GL Events (Beijing) International Exhibition Co., Ltd. and created brand exhibitions including the China Home Furnishing  Expo.

CIEC Exhibition is a pioneer and front-runner of outbound exhibition business in China. It has facilitated the participation of more than 20,000 Chinese enterprises in over 1,000 international exhibitions. These exhibitions cover more than 40 destination countries and regions, with industies including Photovoltaic and Energy Storage; Industry and Metal Processing; Electronics and Optoelectronics; Building Materials, Sanitary Ware and HVAC; Sporting Goods; Musical Instruments, Lighting and Sound, etc.
